It's an open and close case with regard to the importance of manufacturing and nobody, well perhaps somebody living in caveman times, can adequately argue against how important manufacturing and manufacturers are in this world!

There are so many examples of such important it would take pages and pages of this site to describe and since that's a big "no, no" in terms of website development, won't be doing it. However, will be stating it as strongly as possible - MANUFACTURING IS IMPORTANT!

From your microwave oven to your neighbor's garage door to my mom's pacemaker to our neighbor's step ladder to....well, you get the picture. We depend on manufacturing to make products that make our lives safer, cooler, faster, stronger, better and hopefully happier. Cannot claim a cell phone will make you happy, but can claim a car that gets you from point a to point b could make you happy or a microwave that cooks quickly could make you happy.

Bottom line, your happiness is up to you and your views. From this writer's perspective, manufacturing makes me happy. I love manufacturing and manufacturers as have grown up in this industry and have witnessed their importance.
